ATT 120 - Machine Theory-Machine Principles


A background course for drafting and allied crafts. Lectures on materials, cutting tools, gauges, threading systems, measuring tools and machine set up are supplemented with demonstrations. Basic concepts and application of shapers, planers, drilling machines, milling machines, grinding machines, and new machining methods are covered in addition to the theory and application of indexing, helical and spiral milling. (2 contact hrs) South Campus.
