ELT 119 - Electro Technology 4

(formerly ELT 104) This course develops the necessary theory and skills to understand, read and predict A.C. Linear circuit performance in schematics containing diodes and transistors. An A.C. model for the solution to transistor circuit performance is developed. Small signal, large signal class A, Class B, and class C amplifiers are studied and their gain, power and input impedance are determined by this simple model substitution technique. Linear circuits containing BJT, JFET and MOSFET transistors are analyzed. (4 contact hrs) South Campus.
