EETE 1160 - Electronic Engineering Technology 1


(formerly EET 116) This course is intended for those students seeking an Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. EETE-1160 will provide the technologist with theory and practical experimentation in the following areas as applied to D.C. circuits: Series, Parallel and Series-Parallel circuits. Ohm’s Law, Watt’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Laws, and the Superposition Theorem will be employed. An electronic software program will be applied to various circuits in class. It is recommended that the student have previous knowledge of D.C. circuit theory, such as EETE-1100, a high school electronic class, or work experience. Scientific calculators and basic algebra will be used in class. (4 contact hrs) South Campus.
