EET 292C - Optoelectronics, Lasers, and Machine Vision

This course presents the concepts necessary for an understanding of optoelectronics, lasers and machine vision. Circuit devices and lasers will be thoroughly discussed. Covered topics will include basic theory of light and photoelectricity, terminology, semi-conductor physics, electroluminescence, photodection, laser and laser optics, fiber optics, laser classification and application, and machine vision.
