ELEC 1030 - Introduction to Computers & Technical Application Software

(formerly ECS 103) The student will become familiar with personal computer equipment and software commonly used by Electronic Technicians. Topics covered are introduction to the computer as a technical tool, concepts and capabilities of computers, computer operating systems, software examples, word processing, spreadsheet, mathematics problem solving, communications, and electronic schematic creation and circuit simulation.
