CNCT 1210 - CNC Machining Skills Level 1


(formerly CNC 121) This course will introduce students to the operation of manual milling machines, manual lathes, drilling and tapping tools. Speeds and feed rates, as well as introduction to CNC programming (Basic M and G code) will also be provided. (4 contact hrs) South Campus. NOTE: CNCT COURSES ARE NO LONGER OFFERED AS PART OF THE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM. Current students will be contacted by the associate dean’s office and will be given alternate classes to finish their degree. For Computer Numerical Control courses, see ATMT-2270 and ATMT-2280 (Computer Numerical Control Concepts 1 & 2). These courses are part of the Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship program. Use WebAdvisor to check for Mastercam and Cimatron classes that may be added for Fall 2004.
