CIS 285 - AS/400 Data Base Administration

Explains the usage of Data Description Specifications (DDS) on the AS/400 computer. The requirements of database design and how DDS meets those requirements will be presented. Specific areas discussed include: DDS Syntax, Physical file definition and creation, Logical file definition and creation, File Joining definition and creation, Field Reference Files, and Access Paths and maintenance.
