AVT 171 - Audiovisual Equipment Service and Repair

The study of the basic mechanics and electronics of audiovisual equipment. The student will learn how to read block and schematic diagrams; use service and parts manuals; practice with volt-ohm meters and other test equipment; dismantle, repair, and reassemble audiovisual equipment. The study of audio systems and sound control is also included.
