AVT 152 - Audio Tape and Recorders

(Formerly AVT 160) A working knowledge of audio tape and recorders will be the goal of this course. The student will learn the basic principles to tape recording, and the operation and preventive maintenance of monophonic and stereophonic recorders in the reel to reel and cassette formats. He will be taught recording and playback procedures, editing, duplicating, synchronization of audio tape to video information, and repetitive projection displays. (3 contact hrs) Center Campus.
