AT 501 - Metallurgy-Characteristics of Ferrous Metals

To develop a better understanding of the production and application of ferrous metals. The course will include: properties of ferrous metals, production of steel, classification of steel, iron-carbon diagram. Shaping and forming steel, cast iron and a general background in basic heat treatment of steel.
