ANT 191B - Sociocultural Impact of Tourism


Course numbers 191-192-193-194 identify field studies experiences available through the disciplines of the Division of Arts and Sciences. Credit hours to be determined by the scope of the specific field study offered. ANT 191B examines the ways in which tourism affects the social organization and culture of a region. Special emphasis will be given to the relationship between tourism and economic development in Third World countries.
