ITOS 1400 - Managing a Microsoft Windows Server Environment Credits: 3.00 (3 contact hrs) (formerly ITCS-1440) This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server environment. Topics include managing user, computer, and group accounts; managing access to network resources; managing printers; managing an organizational unit in a networkbased on Active Directory directory service; and implementing Group Policy to manage users and computers.
Pre & Co Requisite(s):
Prerequisite: ITNT-1500 or ITNC-1000 or ITNC-1030 OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will define, modify, and manage user accounts.
