MACA 2150 - Advanced Digital Layout

Prerequisites: MACA 1320 and MACA 1200, and MACA 1050 or MACA 1055

(3 credit hrs prior to Fall 2005)

MACA‑2150, a continuation of MACA 1050, uses QuarkXpress software to create composite page layouts as B&W or color images. Other page layout applications introduced include Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat. Students utilize contemporary design fundamentals to create a variety of single and multi‑page publications in black and white, spot and process color. Electronic files are output to a variety of B&W and color proofing devices.
